Mission
The Little Egypt Christian Youth Camp has been growing young people since 1958.  From the beginning, the camp has had a simple goal: to help children and teens build stronger faith, stronger bodies, and stronger friendships.
Stronger Faith
This is the most important goal at Little Egypt.  That's why we dedicate so much time in practical Bible classes, inspiring worship and challenging devotional talks.  But beyond these planned activities, all who work at Little Egypt look for opportunities to model true Christian faith and counsel campers as they begin to explore their own decisions about Jesus.
Stronger Bodies
Two things are constant at Little Egypt Christian Youth Camp: young people are always on the move and the kitchen staff is always at work.  In a world where our youth spend more time on the computer than on the ball field, the week at camp encourages everyone to stay active.  From organized sports to hikes across the campgrounds, our campers are always on the run.  And with all that movement comes big appetites. Our cooks are working from sun up to dusk preparing delicious hot meals.  And when the call goes out for "seconds", kids are always lining up for more.
Stronger Friendships
Sometimes campers are a bit nervous about coming to camp and meeting a lot of new people.  But at week's end they're all hugs and smiles, along with a few tears because they're having to leave their new-found friends.  Year after year, and even into adulthood, camp friendships flourish and help strengthen the Christian bond young people develop at Little Egypt.
